Goodwrench Mudd Tires

The bill makes the thief ...

Howl Today was going to talk about the system of money laundering when it is stumbled upon this news that has shocked parecchiotto: "England prohibits the circulation banknotes of 500 Euro" .. .

The SOCA (Serious Organised Crime Agency, a sort of anti-mafia English) conducted a survey according to which the € 500 notes are mainly used in business transactions and illegal. It
estimated that only 10% of transactions made with banknotes of this cut is originated in legal operations.

This is not trivial if you think about it: in Europe have been printed 464 million € 500 notes, this means that there are outstanding of € 232 billion in this format. Suppose that in each of the 27 United States of Europe there are around the same amount of notes (even if not formally sleeve over the euro, however, it will run a lot), this means that in England there will be 17.1 million pieces from 500 €, of which 15.3 will be used for shady deals ...

"Wow!" exclaims Howl! And after being stunned for 30 seconds to ask: what need to do a banknote with a value of 1 million old lira? Would not it be smarter to do business and a € 2 so as to give them a value of "psychological" Major?
E 'shown that a large part of nostalgia towards the good old Lira is due to the feeling that the spending of less used, and this feeling was then brought back, among other things, the fact that 1 and 2 have been made in € currency format, which, in the eyes of those who were accustomed to using coins that were worth much less, has actually created a strong impression of "depreciation" of the European currency.

Howl think that in this case we should take inspiration from dear old Uncle Scrooge: he is not by chance kept locked up his precious "Number 1"!
